AI animated series workflow: build a coherent sequence
An animated series needs recognizable characters, understandable story beats, and intentional pacing. Produce one representative scene before committing to a longer sequence.
Establish character references
Document relationships, appearance, clothing, and important props. Confirm rights to reference images and select reviewed character references. Different models can render them differently; a written description alone does not guarantee consistency.
Test from the storyboard
Break the story into visible actions and shots. Validate the main characters and one important setting first. Review eyelines, movement direction, dialogue, and transitions before adding footage. Record the reason for each shot revision.
